A vessel may trade for 25 years. Its equipment, controls, crews and operating requirements will not stand still.

Vessel and fleet through-life support, including Owner Support & Service Packages (OSSPs) and long-term service agreements, tailored to how the vessel operates.
Remote monitoring & diagnostics
Through lgecosystem®, plant and fleet performance can be monitored in near real time by Babcock LGE, owners’ shore-side teams and authorised vessel personnel. Fleet health summaries, live process views, performance trends and event monitoring provide a shared understanding of system condition and operation. Operational decision making becomes data led, and troubleshooting is delivered via intelligent lgecosystem® outputs combined with Babcock LGE expert engineering guidance.
For shore-side teams, this enables fleet-wide visibility, earlier identification of developing issues and better-informed maintenance planning. Onboard, crews gain clearer insight into plant behaviour, operating trends and potential performance deviations, supported by Babcock LGE’s remote engineering expertise.

Spare parts provision and management
Strategic spares inventory and parts management, built from a cost-benefit versus-uptime approach, so the right parts are in the right place.
Online training through lgecosystem® with instructor-led courses covering the safe operation, efficient plant operation, controls, equipment and maintenance of Babcock LGE systems.
- ecoSMRT® Training: Provides a comprehensive overview of the ecoSMRT® LNG reliquefaction process, principal equipment and controls, covering system preparation, start-up, normal operation, shutdown, performance monitoring and basic troubleshooting.
- Cargo Handling Systems Training: Provides a comprehensive overview of liquefied gas carriers, cargo-system operations, principal and ancillary equipment, special cargo considerations and safety systems and controls. Tailored for LPG, Ethane or Ammonia carrier applications.
- ecoFGSS® Training: Provides a comprehensive overview of the ecoFGSS® LPG fuel gas system, principal and ancillary equipment, safety and control systems, and guidance on normal system operation.
- ecoCO2® Training: Introduces liquid CO₂ as a cargo, as well as providing overview of ecoCO2®, major system equipment, control, safety and relief systems, and the specific operational considerations required for safe CO₂ cargo handling.
- Mini Courses: Short, focused learning modules covering specific maintenance and operational activities on key equipment.

The strongest proof of a service capability is what it has already delivered. In 2025, Babcock LGE established LNG dry-dock packages and won and delivered all nine opportunities, defined the ecoSMRT® five-year dry-dock scope, built local compressor overhaul capability in dry-dock yards, and opened the lgecosystem® platform to more than fifty vessels.
